Arnis Geographic Reconstruction Tool
Arnis is a robust tool engineered for Minecraft, capable of crafting intricate and highly accurate worlds for both Java Edition (1.17+) and Bedrock Edition. This project enables you to faithfully reconstruct real-world geography, topography, and architectural structures within the game environment.
As a free and open-source initiative, Arnis is designed to efficiently process large-scale geographic datasets and transform them into detailed, block-based Minecraft worlds. The algorithm synthesizes geospatial data from OpenStreetMap with elevation metrics to provide a realistic representation of terrain and buildings. Whether you wish to recreate your hometown, manifest sprawling metropolises, or simulate natural landscapes, you can achieve these results with ease.
If you require mobile generation capabilities or larger map dimensions, MapSmith offers an in-browser solution that eliminates the need for any installation.
Usage Instructions
You may either download the latest release or compile the project from source at your convenience.
To get started, select your desired area on the map using the rectangle tool, choose your destination Minecraft world, and simply click "Start Generation" to initiate the process. Furthermore, you have the flexibility to customize various generation settings, such as world scale, spawn point coordinates, and the generation of building interiors.
