Nudge
Author: ForestOfLight

Nudge is a creative-building addon for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Inspired by the simple tools in moulberry’s Axiom, it gives creators quick and intuitive control over large builds.

Features

  • Selections: Select areas quickly by clicking blocks from any distance.
  • Nudge Controls: Move selected areas one block at a time with the vanilla movement controls.
  • Large-Area Editing: Edit areas of any size at any location.
  • Editing Modes: Switch between moving, cloning, stacking, deleting, and other modes as needed.
  • Undo and Redo: Undo or redo recent editing actions.
  • Simple Controls: No complicated interfaces or commands are required. The tools are designed for quick, straightforward use.

Usage

Install Nudge like any other addon, and make sure the Beta APIs experiment is enabled in the world settings.

Getting Started

After installing Nudge in a world:

  1. Use /nudge:nudge to obtain the Nudge tool.
  2. “Hit” with the tool to begin selecting an area.
  3. “Use” the tool to change the current editing mode.
  4. Follow the in-game instructions to complete your edits.

Nudge is designed for quick, natural adjustments, making it useful for repeated building and editing in Creative mode.

Additional Commands

  • /nudge:undo <amount: int>: Undo the last edit, or undo several edits by entering an amount.
  • /nudge:redo <amount: int>: Redo the last undone edit, or redo several edits by entering an amount.
  • /nudge:here: Start, extend, or nudge your selection to the player’s current location.

Server Installation

Before installing Nudge on a server, make sure config/default/permissions.json contains @minecraft/debug-utilities. Add it manually if necessary. After that, install Nudge like any other addon.
