Ecosystem Logic - Emerald Economy & Dynamic Markets
By: Aperion_HQ
Turn survival loot into a functioning economy that evolves with the world. Ecosystem Logic converts emeralds into a digital balance, introduces a dynamic NPC market with more than 300 catalog items, and adds a complete player marketplace with listings, negotiation, escrow protection, and trade history.
This Bedrock survival addon makes emeralds the world’s actual currency instead of leaving them as little more than villager bait.
Whenever you collect emeralds, they are automatically converted into your personal balance. You can spend that balance at the market, send funds to other players, or withdraw it back into physical emeralds whenever you choose. An optional balance HUD appears in the top-right corner so your wallet remains visible during gameplay. If you prefer a cleaner interface, the HUD can be disabled in Settings.
Market Terminal
Every player receives a locked Market Terminal in the rightmost hotbar slot. Use it to access the in-game market directly—no chat commands are required.
The terminal includes live buy and sell quotes, category filters, keyword search, and sorting options, making it easier to locate and trade the items you need.
Dynamic NPC Market
The market contains more than 300 tradeable items, with prices that shift according to supply and demand. When stock becomes scarce, prices may rise; when supply increases, prices can fall again. Timing your purchases and sales is therefore an important part of the economy.
The market is not always stable, either. Background trading activity, sudden demand spikes, supply booms, and market panic events can cause prices to move rapidly. Items become available for trading the first time you obtain them, allowing market progression to develop naturally alongside survival gameplay.
Player Marketplace
The Player Marketplace allows you to list items directly from your inventory, browse offers from other players, purchase goods at their asking price, or negotiate a different deal.
Sellers can configure several trading options, including:
- Requiring approval before a purchase is completed;
- Allowing instant buyouts at a fixed price;
- Keeping listings active while the seller is offline;
- Receiving notifications for purchase requests and counter-offers.
Trades are protected through escrow. Enchantments, durability, lore, and other item metadata remain intact throughout the listing and exchange process.
For items that are not included in the NPC catalog, recent peer-to-peer trade history can help you set a reasonable price. The system records the last 5 trades, and after at least 3 completed sales, it provides an average price range for more informed listings.
Fair-Play Safeguards
Opposite-trade cooldowns and a progressive trade tax help limit spam-based arbitrage and repeated price abuse. At the same time, legitimate player trading remains available without unnecessary restrictions.
