Turbo Commands Addon Guide

About Turbo Commands

Turbo Commands is a powerful addon that introduces a new item allowing you to open a menu to execute, add, edit, or delete commands. It supports multiplayer environments perfectly and is compatible with all other addons.

Tired of typing commands in the chat constantly? This addon lets you save any command and execute it with a single click. It is designed to be a convenient tool for both single-player worlds and multiplayer servers.

List of Features

Here are the key features provided by the addon:

Repeated Command Execution: Execute your command as many times as you like with a single button press. You can also customize the delay between executions.

Fully Customizable: Configure button label colors, sorting orders, chat feedback displays, and much more.

Multiplayer Support: The menu is restricted to operators (OP) only for security.

Full Compatibility: The addon is designed to work seamlessly with any other existing addons.

Installation and Setup

Download the BP and RP files and add both packs to your Minecraft world.

In your world settings, make sure to enable the following experimental toggle:

  • Beta APIs

Please note that only stable, official releases of Minecraft are supported. Beta and preview versions are not.

How to Use

After entering the world with the addon, you will not have access to the menu by default. To gain access, a player with operator status must type: /function sirob_turbocommands

Once executed, you will be given the "Turbo Commands" item. Trigger it (by tapping the screen or right-clicking) to open the Turbo Commands Menu.

We have pre-added some common commands to get you started. If you don't need them, feel free to delete or replace them with your own.

Adding a New Command

In the main menu, press the "Add command" button. Enter your desired command in the input field. Select a position for the new command from the dropdown list.

Repeated Command Execution

In the main menu, press the "Repeated command execution" button. Select the command you want to repeat. Set the number of repetitions. Set the delay between executions in ticks (where 1 second equals 20 ticks).

Managing My Commands

In the main menu, press the "Manage my commands" button. Select the command you wish to edit or delete. Edit the text in the input field. To delete a command, simply leave the input field blank.

Customizing Preferences

In the main menu, press the "My preferences" button. Note: These are individual player settings, not global addon settings. Each player can customize their interface to their liking.

Configuration options include:

  • Bold toggle for general buttons.
  • Bold toggle for command buttons.
  • Sorting mode: By frequency of use or by most recent.
  • Command prefix toggle: Optionally show "/" in buttons.
  • Command output toggle: Display or hide results in the chat.
  • Failed command highlight: Toggle red coloring for failed execution buttons.
  • Menu reopen: Toggle if the menu should reopen after a command click.
  • Button text color: Customize the color of commands in buttons.

Granting Access to Others

To give another player access to Turbo Commands, type the following command: /execute as playername run function sirob_turbocommands

To revoke access, enter the same command again. Warning: A player with access to Turbo Commands can run all Minecraft commands, regardless of their operator status.

FAQ

Q: Does this addon work on Realms? A: Yes. Download your world from the Realm, enable the necessary experiments in your local copy, add the addon, and upload it back. If it still doesn't work, it may be a known issue with the Realm environment.

Q: I lost the "Turbo Commands" item, where can I find it? A: It can be located in the creative inventory under the "Construction" tab.

Q: The addon doesn't work! A: Please perform these checks:

  1. Ensure your Minecraft version is a "release" version (not beta or preview).
  2. Check that the required experiments are enabled in your world settings.
  3. Ensure that only one version of the addon is active in the world's behavior and resource packs to prevent duplication errors.

Q: The addon works locally but not on a server! A: Double-check all steps mentioned above. Verify that your hosting provider correctly supports script execution (Beta APIs).
