Verity™ is a small yellow sphere that floats beside the player. It accompanies you through the world, offers survival advice, and warns you when danger approaches. At first, it feels like a friendly companion that is always there for you.

However, everything begins to unravel after the fourth in-game day.

As time passes, Verity starts behaving strangely. Its responses become delayed, its words grow increasingly unsettling, and it may mention things it should never know. The warmth of its companionship slowly gives way to unease; at times, it no longer feels as though Verity is helping you, but quietly watching you.

By Day 4, Verity is no longer just a companion.

It becomes something unknown and unpredictable.

The once cheerful yellow sphere may interfere with the environment, mislead the player, and trigger disturbing events. The boundary between the game and reality begins to blur, while the presence that once guided you becomes impossible to ignore—or escape.

VERITY.jar is more than a horror survival experience. It challenges your trust in a companion, your perception of the world, and the fear of being alone in a blocky world.

It was never only helping you.
