This add-on introduces a comprehensive tomb system to your game. Upon death, a tombstone is automatically generated to secure your items, and you are provided with a dedicated key. This key not only grants access to retrieve your gear but also features a teleportation function, allowing you to return to the location of your death swiftly.

General Information and Compatibility

This add-on is compatible with various other add-ons, Realms, and "Action and Stuff." Using this add-on does not disable achievements, and it does not require activating any experimental game features. Furthermore, the add-on does not modify the player.json file, ensuring excellent game compatibility.

Core Mechanism

When you die, a tomb is generated bearing your name, accompanied by a corresponding key. For security, only the owner—the player whose name is on the tomb—can use the key to open it, preventing unauthorized access. Notifications containing death information and key acquisition details will appear in the chat to help you locate your tomb.

Setup and Installation Guide

If you have an existing server or Realm and wish to install this add-on, we recommend the following procedure: Clone your current world, install the StoneTombs add-on, enter the world to obtain the key and establish ownership, and then upload the updated world to your server or Realm.

For installation, you must download both the "StoneTombs BP" (Behavior Pack) for game logic and the "StoneTombs RP" (Resource Pack) for textures. Both are required for the add-on to function correctly.

Update: Version 1.6.5

This update introduces enhanced customization mechanics, allowing players to personalize their gravestones further. Upon entering the world, you will receive a new permanent key that is not lost upon death and can be stored in chests. With this key, you can configure the tomb model and the color of the name. By default, the system uses randomised models for each tomb.

In this update, the "Config Key" was added—a crucial item designed for the world owner. By interacting with the Config Key, you can toggle various settings:

• Key Enchantment: Choose between always enchanted or randomly enchanted keys.
• Grave Owner Restriction: Restrict tomb access solely to the owner.
• Show Grave Owner Name: Display the owner's name on the tomb.
• Death Coordinates: Enable death coordinates in the chat or on the key.
• Lose Key on Death: Toggle whether the player loses the key upon death.
• Empty Inventory Generation: Choose whether a tomb spawns even with an empty inventory.
• Environmental Events: Set a chance for a zombie or bones to spawn when opening the tomb.
