The mob data trapped inside the spawner is preserved perfectly. You can carry it with you and place it wherever you want, and it will continue to function exactly as intended.

By default, this feature is restricted to Netherite pickaxes to maintain game balance, but the addon is highly customizable, allowing you to configure it to work with any pickaxe of your choice.

How to Use

To get started, apply the addon to your world, use a Netherite pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch, and begin mining mob spawners. As demonstrated, the mob inside is preserved when the spawner is collected. If you do not have a Netherite pickaxe yet, you can modify the configuration to use other tools.

Addon Configuration

Simply enter the following command in-game to access the settings window: /function config_silkspawners

In the configuration menu, you can adjust:

• Enable Addon: Quickly toggle the entire addon on or off without needing to reload the world.
• Enable per Pickaxe: Choose whether specific pickaxes are allowed to harvest spawners. If a pickaxe is disabled in the settings, the spawner will never drop, regardless of the Silk Touch enchantment.
• Drop Chance: Specify the success rate for harvesting a spawner when using an enabled pickaxe with Silk Touch (adjustable from 1% to 100%). The default is set to 100%.

FAQ

Q: Does this addon work on Realms? A: Yes. Download your world from the realm, enable the required experiments, add this addon, and upload it back. If it still doesn't work, it is likely a synchronization bug on the realm side.

Q: The addon is not working! What should I do? A: Please verify the following:

1. Ensure your Minecraft version is a stable "release" (not beta or preview) and matches the minimum version requirement.
2. Confirm that "Beta APIs" are enabled in your world settings. If hosted on a server, check the control panel for these experiments. If they are not accessible there, download the world to your local device, enable the experiments, and re-upload it.
3. Verify that only one instance of the addon (both Behavior and Resource packs) is active in your world settings. Remove any duplicates or older versions.

Q: It works locally but fails on the server! A: Ensure you have followed the steps above. If using Aternos or similar services, try toggling the experiments off and on again, as they sometimes fail to activate on the first attempt. Additionally, verify that your hosting provider explicitly supports script execution addons (Beta APIs).
