SecurityCraft – Bedrock Edition (Unofficial Port)
Mod Overview
This add-on introduces a comprehensive suite of security-focused blocks and systems to Minecraft Bedrock Edition, specifically designed to protect player bases and assets in both single-player and multiplayer environments.
Disclaimer
This is an unofficial Minecraft Bedrock Edition port inspired by the popular SecurityCraft mod for Java Edition, originally created by Geforce132. The project belongs to the community, and full credit goes to the original creator.
Configuration Requirements
To ensure this add-on functions correctly in your world, you must enable the "Beta APIs" experimental feature in your world settings.
Universal Block Reinforcement System
Against potential intruders, the Universal Block Reinforcer is your primary defensive tool. With it, you can upgrade standard building materials into reinforced versions that possess significantly higher resistance.
The reinforcement system features three tiers:
- Level 1: Basic reinforcement, enhancing block structural integrity.
- Level 2: Reinforced, increasing durability with a higher crafting cost.
- Level 3: Infinite, providing unbreakable durability, though extremely expensive to craft.
Reinforced blocks are not only resistant to explosions but, crucially, cannot be broken by unauthorized players.
Ownership and Maintenance
In SecurityCraft, every security device and reinforced block operates under a strict ownership logic. Only the original placer (the owner) of the block can use the Universal Block Remover to dismantle it, effectively preventing malicious destruction.
Access Security Facilities
The Reinforced Iron Door retains the classic redstone functionality of an iron door while significantly boosting its defense. It is unbreakable and immune to explosion damage.
The Scanner Iron Door represents modern security. It automatically detects and opens when its owner looks at it, also featuring high resistance to breaking, thereby denying unauthorized access.
The Retinal Scanner is the key to automated security. When the owner looks at this device, it emits a redstone signal. This is not only used to power reinforced iron doors or other mechanisms, but it is also a necessary component for crafting the Scanner Iron Door.
The Keypad must be placed on a Keypad Frame to function. Once a user enters the correct password, it triggers a redstone signal, which can be used to control reinforced doors or complex machinery. Additionally, it serves as a crafting material for the Reinforced Chest.
The Reinforced Chest securely stores your valuables. Upon initial placement, the owner must set an exclusive password. Anyone who knows the password can access the contents, but only the owner holds the permission to remove the chest using the Universal Block Remover.
Defense and Monitoring Systems
The Sentry Turret acts as your base's loyal guardian, automatically locking onto targets within range. It supports several operational modes:
- Camouflage Mode: Remains hidden when no targets are detected.
- Aggressive Mode: Stays visible at all times.
- Idle Mode: The device is deactivated.
Furthermore, the Sentry Turret supports three target types: Monsters only, Players only, or both. The owner can configure or control the turret directly or remotely using the Sentry Remote Access.
If you are far away but still wish to oversee your base, Security Cameras are the ideal solution. Place these in strategic locations and link them to a Camera Monitor to view a full-scale real-time feed.
Mines are the ultimate defensive measure. Once placed on the ground, they will detonate if triggered by a mob or player. If the surrounding area is not reinforced, the result can be quite devastating. You can manually defuse mines with Wire Cutters and re-arm them using Flint and Steel. Through the Mine Remote Access tool, the owner can manage mines remotely.
The Laser Block features a sleek design; placing two blocks will connect them with a laser beam. While they perform no function on their own, by using the Universal Block Modifier to add Modules, these blocks gain versatile security functionalities.
Ownership System
This mod utilizes a robust ownership mechanism. Every security device has a clear owner. At present, the mod enforces this owner-only removal permission to ensure asset safety. Please note that there is currently no whitelist system implemented; ownership lies solely with the placer.
