Minecraft Bedrock Native Features By default, without any mods, health regeneration is quite slow; this is an inherent mechanic of the Bedrock Edition.

How does saturation affect health regeneration? The speed at which a player’s health regenerates depends entirely on the current "saturation level," which is directly influenced by the types of food consumed. Specifically:

A Golden Carrot provides 14 saturation points, while bread only provides 6.

This means that the health regeneration brought about by a Golden Carrot is more than twice as effective as that of bread, optimizing supplies for outdoor survival and eliminating the need for constant eating.

Mod Version Information

• Java Saturation Feature Version: This version includes the complete Java Edition saturation and health regeneration mechanics, plus an additional UI element displaying the saturation numerical value.
• No UI Version: This version retains the Java Edition saturation and health regeneration logic but removes the saturation counter UI, designed for players who prefer a minimalist interface or wish to ensure compatibility with other UI-related mods.
