A Detailed Guide to Raiyon's Item Physics Mod

Feature Overview

The Raiyon's Item Physics mod is designed to bring a more immersive physical experience to your Minecraft world. With this mod, items dropped on the ground appear in a highly realistic form, bidding farewell to the static, dull item displays of the vanilla game. Players can interact with these dropped items at any time and pick them up into their inventory as needed, resulting in a more realistic and fluid gaming experience.

Operation Guide

Understanding how to interact with dropped items is fundamental to using this mod. To pick up an item from the ground, you can either attack it directly or perform a long-press of the right mouse button. Additionally, to improve efficiency when dealing with large quantities of items, the mod supports the "sneak" (Shift key) mechanic to automatically collect nearby dropped items.

Item Properties and Special Mechanics

It is worth noting that items retain all their original properties while on the ground. For instance, equipment made of Netherite will not be destroyed if dropped into lava, adhering strictly to vanilla game logic. Furthermore, specific items will behave according to their material properties, such as floating on the surface of the water.

Regarding item despawn mechanics, the rules follow standard Minecraft settings: dropped items will automatically disappear after lying on the ground for 5 minutes. However, if an item has been renamed using an anvil, or if the item is a Nether Star, it will be exempt from this automatic despawn rule.

Prerequisites and Compatibility

Before using this mod, please ensure that you have installed and activated both the required resource packs and behavior packs; both are essential. Furthermore, this mod boasts excellent compatibility. Installing and using it will not disable your Minecraft achievements, allowing you to enjoy more realistic physics while still progressing toward your achievements.
