Poppy Playtime MeBesm Edition
Poppy Playtime MeBesm Addon Introduction
Version Information and Compatibility
This addon is version 1.0.1, specifically designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21 and above. To ensure all resources within the addon run stably and perform at their best, please be sure to enable all "Experimental Gameplay" features when creating your world. Before installation, remember to configure both the Resource Pack (RP) and Behavior Pack (BP).
Character and Creature Roster
This pack includes a vast array of iconic characters from Poppy Playtime. Below is a detailed explanation of key entities and their mechanics:
Basic Character List The addon includes multiple characters such as Lily Lovebraids, Prototype, Giblet, Gutter Plush, Rag Bag, and Chum Chomlkins.
Core Mechanic Creature Details
- Huggy and Kissy Statues: These statues are not stationary. When attacked by a player, they immediately activate, trigger Jumpscares, and possess the eerie ability to pass through two layers of walls. As their health decreases, they will eventually be completely destroyed.
- Sawyer Family Series:
- Harley Sawyer: Features a terrifying scream effect, actively hunts the player, and supports the Morph function.
- TV Sawyer: Interacting with the TV triggers specific cutscenes.
- Bot Sawyer: Has both stationary and active states. It automatically activates when players approach and returns to a frozen state when they move away. Clicking to start it will cause its yellow eyes to glow.
- Brain Sawyer: A core control node. Powering it down causes all Sawyer bots and itself to shut down; however, players can manually reboot them at any time.
- PJ Pug-a-Pillar: Upon activation, it spawns Redstone blocks beneath it, which are essential for custom mini-games designed for players. It descends slowly and initiates a chase sequence in the final phase, accompanied by scream effects.
- Mommy Long Legs: This creature features a built-in scream effect. Upon death, she transforms into an evil variant, also capable of Jumpscares. The addon includes a dedicated destruction device; by pulling the lever, you can suck Mommy in and crush her while playing a corresponding cutscene. This creature supports Morph.
- Miss Delight: Features the classic line-of-sight restriction mechanic—she remains stationary while the player watches her; as soon as you look away, she initiates a frantic chase. If she catches up, a Jumpscare is triggered. This character supports Morph, and after transformation, if other players look at you, you will be unable to move.
- Player Entity: Actively hunts the player and fights by swinging both hands alternately.
- Catnap: A unique addition with exclusive sound effects, dynamic animations, and Jumpscares. Once defeated, Catnap transforms into a larger, more terrifying "Nightmare Version," boasting more impressive visuals, unique movement modules, and more intense Jumpscare warnings.
- Pianosaurus: Upon defeat, its head detaches from its body, accompanied by a Jumpscare.
- Yarnaby: A redesigned creature. When set on fire, it turns black and unlocks a new Jumpscare animation; interacting with it using shears will make it bald, revealing a unique hidden Jumpscare (Easter egg).
- Doey: Becomes more aggressive as its health drops. Upon death, it transforms into an evil monster form, triggering an additional Jumpscare. When paired with a "Freezer," attacking the freezer will temporarily freeze it.
- Mini-Huggy: Available in four colors (Blue, Red, Yellow, Green). When you hear them moving, you must quickly use your GrabPack to fight back, or you will have your "neck snapped."
- Boxy Boo: Initially hidden in a gift box. It will actively chase players when they approach and retreat back into the box after triggering a scream.
- Poppy and Her Box: After placing Poppy and her corresponding egg, hitting the box causes her to sleep. To wake her up, simply use the GrabPack on the box.
- Nightmare Huggy: Appears after watching a specific cutscene and using a Cassette, featuring a dedicated Jumpscare.
Morph System
This addon provides players with high-freedom morphing capabilities. Players can freely transform into and play as most of the characters included in the addon, enjoying the unique experience of viewing the game from different perspectives.
Mechanics and Object System
The addon contains a large number of environmental interaction items designed to recreate the scene-based puzzle experience of the original game.
GrabPack System This is the core mechanic of the addon, offering various functional hand modules, including Classic Blue, Red, Green, Purple, Orange, as well as the Omnihand and Yellow glove. Players can switch between them according to the needs of different scenarios.
Scene Interaction and Decorations
- Basic Interaction: Built-in items such as levers for switching toy states, various cutscene triggers, cardboard cutouts, and themed posters.
- Sound and Light Effects: Lemon toys (click to play sound), Wrongside outimal toys, CatBee, Boogie Bot, and classic dolls (e.g., Kissy, Huggy, Bron, Candy Cat).
- Environmental Facilities: Includes building blocks, exit signs, Card Slots, Pulse panels, Toy Scanners, Hand Exhibits, and various lamps for set decoration.
- Decorative Building Materials: Provides 12 different types of tiles, ventilation duct blocks, and slabs, greatly enriching map details.
Advanced Features and Puzzle Logic
- Doors and Security: Doors have been completely reconstructed with smooth opening/closing animations. Inserting a Battery into a slot operates the doors. Additionally, Security Panels require players to input the correct code to unlock specific doors.
- Scanning and Energy: Five types of Scanners (Blue, Red, Dual-Color, Green, and Omni-Scanner) are key to completing puzzles. The energy mechanism (energy givers and receivers) and the green palm launcher/receiver replicate the power transmission flow of the original game through specific charging-sequence logic.
- Creative Mode Tools: Includes a one-click door close item for easier creative building; a Kill Sign for instantly destroying nearby entities (useful for testing); and a Horizontal Bar that players can use to climb over obstacles.
- Special Items:
- MeBesm Commemorative Figurine: A rare creator Easter egg; clicking the figurine randomly triggers several unique voice lines.
- Jump Platforms: Use a purple palm strike to gain a high jump boost.
- Imprint Box: A physics-based interaction block that can be pulled with one hand or pushed with both.
- Gas Mask: The only way to survive in dangerous areas filled with red fog; failure to wear it will lead to certain death.
- TV: Insert specific cassettes to play exclusive video content.
