Visual Effects

• 3D Water Splashes

  • Splashes automatically adapt to the specific color of the surrounding water.
  • Splash width correlates with the size of the entity.
  • Splash height is determined by the distance of the fall.

• Waterfall Cascades

  • Cascades are generated when falling water exceeds a 2-block depth from the source, provided the top source block has at least one open side.
  • The intensity of the cascade scales with the fall height and the number of exposed sides of the water source.

• Fireflies

  • They spawn in warm biomes near flowers and tall grass.
  • Spawn rates are randomized during the dusk cycle.

• Falling Leaves

  • Each leaf block features a unique particle behavior.
  • Leaves create gentle ripples upon contact with water surfaces.

• Cave Dust

  • Spawn density is proportional to your depth and the current light level in the cave.

• Underwater Container Bubbles

  • Opening a chest or barrel underwater triggers a release of bubbles.
  • Ender chests emit distinct green-tinted bubbles.
  • Placing Soul Sand beneath a chest forces it to stay open and continuously release bubbles.
