Effortless Building is a powerful Bedrock Edition addon inspired by the iconic Java mod of the same name. It revolutionizes your building workflow: instead of placing blocks one by one, you select a build mode, click twice (or three times for 3D shapes), and the addon fills in an entire line, wall, floor, cube, sphere, cylinder, and more. Most importantly, it consumes the exact number of blocks from your survival inventory, ensuring gameplay balance.

Features at a Glance

• 11 Build Modes: Includes Line, Wall, Floor, Cube, Diagonal Line, Diagonal Wall, Slope Floor, Circle, Cylinder, Sphere, and Air Build.
• Live Shape Preview: Particles or outlines render every tick, showing you exactly what will be placed before you finalize your build.
• Survival-Ready: Blocks are drawn directly from your inventory. The addon will never place more blocks than you currently carry.
• Undo / Redo: Made a mistake? Use /eb:undo to step back up to 20 operations instantly.
• Block Palette: Build using your anchor block, any item in your hotbar, or your full inventory.
• Air Build Mode: Place blocks mid-air by right-clicking with any held block; no surface support is required.
• Per-Player Settings: Custom settings such as max block cap (up to 50,000), preview styles, and air-build reach are saved per player and persist across sessions.
• Admin Controls: Operators can restrict addon access to players with specific tags, making it perfect for servers and Realms management.

Admin / Server Controls

(Visible only to operators and players with the eb:admin tag)

Operators can toggle a tag restriction so that only players with a designated tag (default: admin) can utilize the addon. This is highly useful for event worlds, build servers, or Realms where access management is required.

Note for local / LAN worlds: Execute /tag @s add eb:admin once to unlock the admin section in the settings screen.

FAQ

Does this work in survival? Yes. The addon monitors your inventory and only places as many blocks as you are carrying.

Does it work on Realms / servers? Yes, as long as the Behaviour Pack is correctly applied to the world.

Will it conflict with other addons? Unlikely. It only interacts with the renamed Building Book and does not modify any vanilla blocks or entities.

What is the maximum blocks per operation? The cap is 50,000 blocks. You can adjust this in the settings menu to optimize performance on slower devices.
