Overview of Cute Mob Models

Cute Mob Models is a comprehensive add-on designed to transform the standard mobs of Minecraft into visually appealing, anime-inspired characters. Drawing inspiration from the classic Mob Talker mod, this project goes beyond a direct port. While it is not a 1:1 recreation due to the inherent limitations of the Bedrock Edition, we have actively expanded and rebuilt the framework to suit the platform.

This add-on is more than a simple visual overhaul. It grants players the ability to alter mob textures using name tags. Furthermore, it includes behavior packs that meticulously adjust hitboxes to match the new character models and enable various texture variants. We strongly advise keeping the behavior pack active; without it, certain mobs, such as villagers, may exhibit distorted texture states. Our roadmap includes regular updates to add support for more mobs, address technical bugs, and refine the overall user experience.

Installation Instructions

Note: For this add-on to function correctly, specific graphics settings must be enabled:

For High-End Users: Ensure "Fancy Graphics" is set to "ON." For Low-End Users: Ensure "Simple Graphics" is set to "ON."

Please note that "Vibrant Visuals" is not recommended.
