Block Armor is an addon specifically designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. This expansion introduces a total of 26 new sets of armor, all crafted from various Minecraft block materials. Several of these armor sets provide unique special abilities, which players can leverage whether they are wearing a full set or just individual pieces.

Key Features and Compatibility

Designed with broad compatibility in mind, this addon offers the following benefits:

• Fully compatible with other addons, Realms, and "Action and Stuff" type mods.
• Does not disable Minecraft achievements.
• Requires no experimental game features to operate.
• Does not utilize the player.json file, significantly reducing potential conflicts with other addons.
• Armor textures are compatible with any texture pack.

Installation Guide

To ensure the addon functions correctly, please follow these necessary installation steps:

1. Download and install the "Block Armor BP" file, which serves as the behavioral core of the addon.
2. Download and install the "Block Armor RP" file, which provides the visual assets. Both files are mandatory for the proper operation of the addon; please ensure both are applied correctly.

Version 2.2.0 Update Notes

• Mushroom Armor: Added an ability where wearing the full set causes enemies that strike you to be poisoned. The duration of the poison is scaled based on how many pieces of the same armor type you have equipped.
• Hay Armor: Added an ability that grants the saturation effect when the full set is worn.

Armor Functionality

As previously mentioned, the addon adds 26 new armors for crafting and use, with plans to expand this roster and their respective abilities in future updates. Key examples include:

• Wool Armor: Features specific functionality (refer to in-game details).
• Coal Armor: Wearing the full set allows you to cook food held in your hand. It processes one item at a time, consumes armor durability, and incurs a 10-second cooldown between uses.
• Lapis Armor: Grants experience every time you mine a mineral. This works with vanilla minerals and custom blocks containing "_ore" in their ID. Experience gain scales with the number of equipped pieces.
• Magma Armor: Inflicts damage upon entities that attack you, with damage output increasing based on the number of armor pieces equipped.
• Ice Armor: Wearing the complete set allows you to walk across water.
• Obsidian Armor, Prismarine Armor, Glowstone Armor, and Slime Armor: These provide effects even with partial sets; however, the potency is reduced to one-quarter of the potential effect of a full set.

Crafting Recipes

The crafting process is intuitive. You simply need to open a crafting table to view the specific requirements for each piece of armor. Generally, these sets are crafted using standard, vanilla blocks from the game.
