Beyond Belief Shaders

Author: unicornblood2468
Category: Shaders

This shaderpack has undergone an incredible evolution over the years, maturing into a truly remarkable visual enhancement suite!

Description

Someone asked this on Discord, and I shall clarify it here: this shaderpack is compatible with any version of Minecraft that utilizes a shader mod or Optifine. Furthermore, please note that the "supported Minecraft version" restrictions displayed on Curse do not apply to shaders.

Beyond Belief Shaders (also known as Bbepc/BBL) was originally created by Daniel Rodriguez Moya in August 2015. He has graciously granted me permission to maintain this project and upload it here for everyone to enjoy. Please be aware that this shaderpack does not function on Mac systems or with Intel GPUs.

Added Features

  • Wet Effect: Reflections appear on tiles when it rains.
  • Dimension-specific edits: Custom visual adjustments for different dimensions.
  • Toggleable options: Almost all features can be turned on or off.
  • Volumetric clouds: Adds depth and realism to the cloud layers.
  • Motion blur: Enhances the fluidity of movement.
  • Natural lighting: Provides a gentler, more authentic color palette for both day and night cycles.
  • Improved water: Significant enhancements to water rendering.
  • Smoother animations: Leaves and clouds feature slower, more natural movement.
  • Celshading: Adds a unique, stylistic artistic flair to the visuals.
  • Included assets: custom_box and tonemaps from bbvr.

Bugs

  • The werewolf mode in the Witchery mod interferes with lens flare and haze.
  • The red effect from the Random Things blood moon will not display; it may also cause the screen to turn black at certain elevations during the event.
  • Conquest textures may load strangely in version 1.12 (not tested on older versions).

Credits

  • Base core: Sonic Ether
