Description

Better FPS is a high-performance resource pack for Minecraft Bedrock Edition that elevates your frame rates without compromising the original vanilla aesthetics. Experience less lag, smoother gameplay, and convenient quality-of-life additions, all contained within one lightweight package.

Pack Settings (Subpacks)

Choose your preferred performance level in the "Pack Settings" menu after applying the resource pack:

• 🟢 Default — The full Better FPS experience with all optimizations enabled, while maintaining all particle effects.
• 🔴 Max FPS — Everything included in the Default setting, plus the removal of all 177 particle effects and the addition of Fast Better Grass for maximum performance gains.

⚡ FPS Optimizations

• Static Water & Lava — Removed all animation frames from water, lava, and cauldron liquid textures.
• Static Nether Portal — Eliminated the flickering animation of Nether portals.
• Static Campfire & Soul Campfire — Frozen to a single frame to save processing power.
• Static Kelp & Seagrass — All 6 kelp variations, along with seagrass and tall seagrass, have been rendered static.
• Static Bubble Columns — All bubble column textures are now frozen.
• Reduced Particles — 110 particle effects have been optimized to ensure better performance.
• Clear Glass — Clean, borderless glass blocks and panes (includes all 16 colors and tinted glass).
• Optimized Fog — 71 biome-specific fog settings adjusted for cleaner, less demanding rendering.
• Smaller Environment Textures — Reduced the resolution of sun, moon, and weather textures.
• Reduced Color Maps — Lighter foliage and grass color maps for improved visual efficiency.
• Low-Detail Shield — Simplified model and animation for shields.

🍗 Food Stats Display

View hunger points restored directly on the names of food items! Small drumstick icons clearly indicate how much hunger each food provides, eliminating the need for guesswork.

• Covers 41 distinct food items (all vanilla foods included).
• Full drumstick = 2 hunger points; half drumstick = 1 point.
• Skull icon displayed on harmful foods (e.g., Rotten Flesh, Spider Eye, Pufferfish, Raw Chicken, Poisonous Potato).

✨ Enchantment Icons

Colored icons are displayed next to every enchantment name, allowing for quick and effortless identification.

• 42 enchantments covered (including "Lunge" from Mounts of Mayhem).
• Unique pixel art icon created for each enchantment.
• Color-coded names based on category (e.g., red for damage, cyan for utility, purple for protection, green for mending/fortune, etc.).
