beta 26.50.22 (ChromeOS/Android) and Preview 26.50.22 (Windows/Xbox/iOS/iPadOS/PlayStation) is the second beta and preview version for Bedrock Edition 26.50, released on July 28, 2026 [1], which moves all features of the third minor update of 2026 out of Experimental Features and fixes several bugs.

- Aspen Leaves, Aspen Bookshelf, Aspen Boat, and Wool Slabs in the Creative Inventory are now sorted consistently. (MCPE-240031, MCPE-240792, MCPE-240464)
- Projectiles now only hit the entity that fired them or an entity on the same tier (such as the shooter's mount) after spatially leaving that tier. (MCPE-240527)
- This prevents players from being damaged by their own arrows fired with a slight draw.
Gameplay
- Fixed a bug where players falling from certain heights through a single block of water did not calculate fall damage correctly.
- Fixed an issue where players who died inside a Nether Portal could respawn in the Nether.
- Fixed an issue where End Portals generated by the same world seed would have an inconsistent number of Eyes of Ender. (MCPE-227980)
- Fixed an issue where entities would teleport to unintended locations when teleporting between dimensions using the teleport command. (MCPE-181173)
Graphics
- Fixed a bug where translucent effects had cracks when viewed through models with Dynamic Lighting enabled.
Mobs
- Armor Stands and Drowned are now harder for other mobs to detect when invisible.
Realms
- Fixed an issue where trying to download a copy of a Realm world after changing settings would result in the download never progressing.
- Fixed the height issue for the member search bar.
- Introduced a localized loading spinner to replace the Play button on the Realms tab while the client fetches additional information from the service, along with a reload button that players can use to reload the tab if the fetch fails.
- Fixed an issue where the strings "Core" and "Plus" in other languages were sometimes translated.
Performance and Stability
- Fixed a crash that could occur when changing control modes in touch settings after deleting a world.
- Fixed a memory leak when blocks were moved by pistons outside of simulation distance. (MCPE-238926)
User Interface
- The furnace recipe book preference is now saved after reloading a world. (MCPE-239320)
- Fixed screen reader repetition on the vertical menu in the settings screen.
- Fixed a game crash caused by repeatedly pressing the Tab ↹ key upon death. (MCPE-239639)
- Japanese symbols in region-specific UI no longer display in a different font. (MCPE-239802)
- Text strings on world card buttons in the "Minecraft", "My Templates", and "Servers" menus are no longer truncated with ellipses.
- Screenshots can now be set as world thumbnails without triggering an assertion.
- Fixed an issue where capes caused visual discrepancies between the in-game model and the Dressing Room model.
- Trusted servers no longer prompt the player for confirmation after the client restarts.
- Fixed the error message displayed when Marketplace favorites fail to load, ensuring players receive proper feedback regarding connection and service issues.
- Updated the Adjust Brightness screen in settings (both in-game and out-of-game) to use the new Ore UI design and technology.
- Added an empty state message for Marketplace favorites with a call-to-action to browse the Marketplace.
- Ported the delete modal used by storage lists to Ore UI.
