Dream City Studios presents: 1.12.2 Fantasy-style CTM Map - Winter of Curse

Greetings, fellow travelers. We are proud to unveil "Winter of Curse," the latest 2019 masterpiece from Dream City Studios.

To ensure an unparalleled immersive experience, we have infused this CTM (Complete the Monument) map with innovative design elements and intricate details. As a member of this development team, "Mig" has poured dedication into this project—but be warned: tread carefully as you navigate this frozen, cursed realm!

Background: Shadows in the Snow

On a night shrouded in blizzard and frost, a lone traveler rushes toward their homeland. The flickering lights in the distance should have been a sanctuary from the freezing wind.

However, reality defies expectations. The town is hollow and eerie, and the distant firelight brings no warmth. The townsfolk, once peaceful, have turned hostile and hysterical.

Strange whispers echo through the air, the rhythmic ticking of an ancient clock grows louder, the world is losing its order, and a dark mirror image is drawing ever closer. What is happening? Only you can find the truth.

Brightness: Bright; Clouds: Off; Render Distance: 12+; Difficulty: Non-Peaceful.

Important Notes

Version: 1.12.2. Recommended Players: 1-3. Please install the required texture pack. For lower-end PCs, it is recommended to adjust your settings: Options > Video Settings > Animations > Lower particles.
Game Mode: The game mode is managed by the system, switching between Adventure and Survival modes as needed.

About CTM

CTM stands for "Complete the Monument." Pioneered by the map maker Vechs (creator of Super Hostile), this mode is more intense than standard survival. Players must traverse various stages to collect specific achievement blocks (usually colored wool) to place on the monument to win. Beware of traps and mob spawners lurking in the dark.
