How to Play
It mainly spawns in caves and hides in the dark. Be sure to check every corner, because you never know what might be lurking there.

Lore
Steve was minding his own business, gathering logs. Suddenly, a black alien parasite from the caves entered his body. It ate away at his insides, crawling through him little by little. As the days went on, Steve's limbs grew unnaturally long, and his skin stretched to its limit. The parasite had spread through his entire nervous system, keeping him alive by only the thinnest thread. Steve remained painfully conscious and aware. Soon, his face began to deform into grotesque features: an inhuman smile stretched from ear to ear, and his eye sockets grew so large that he could no longer blink. The parasite forced Steve to kill his dog and his only friend, Alex. The pain he went through would destroy anyone, but not him. It can't, no matter how much he may want it to. Whenever Steve encounters another human, the parasite takes control. Steve screams for help with all his might, but it is useless against the parasite's pure determination. It will mimic humans, animals, or anything else it needs to in order to satisfy its bloodthirsty hunger.

If you do not like the voice lines, I recommend trying some of the older versions of the Mimicer.

What is Mimicker Rebirth?
Mimicker Rebirth is a body-horror project focused on storytelling and worldbuilding, following the story of Steve and the parasite's origin. It will introduce many new things, including a new menu and UI, new gameplay mechanics, and an entirely new world, effectively transforming the game.
