Overview

Welcome to the "Path of Truth." This is a comprehensive, deep-progression modpack designed for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge, meticulously crafted by the wild engineer JasdewStarfield and the abstract mage MidnightPigeon.

The core of this pack lies in continuous exploration and the pursuit of ultimate truth. The extent of your knowledge and the depth of your exploration directly dictate your survival ceiling: if your knowledge is shallow, certain truths will remain veiled; if your exploration is stagnant, the full tapestry of the world remains invisible. Your mission is to master both science and magic, wielding them as twin tools to venture deep into the void and tear away the illusion of the world.

Core Mod Architecture

This modpack selects key mods across various categories to provide a multi-faceted foundation for technology and magic:

Tech Mods: Includes Create and its addons, Immersive Engineering.

Magic Mods: Includes Botania, Forbidden and Arcanus, Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks.

Exploration Mods: Includes Blue Skies, The Outer End, Alex's Mobs, Jadens Nether Expansion.

Farming & Food: Includes Farmer's Delight and its addons, Tides, Diet.

Please note that this is not merely a collection of mods, but a project deeply rebalanced using KubeJS. It involves the overhaul of over 50% of key recipes, the introduction of dozens of original materials, and substantial modifications to existing mechanics. Your previous intuition may not suffice here; please remain open-minded and be prepared to embrace a fresh set of challenges.

Survival Challenges and Detailed Guides

To elevate your survival experience, we have integrated seasonal changes and temperature management systems. The addition of the "Cold Sweat" mod increases environmental pressure, where every fluctuation in body temperature could be a matter of life and death.

You need not be daunted by these complex systems. The modpack features a meticulously designed FTB Quest system. Combined with the built-in tutorials of the individual mods, these guides will shepherd you from the primitive Bronze Age, through the Iron Age, the Age of Precision Instruments, and the Electrical Age, leading you on a journey of industrial and magical revolution, bringing you ever closer to the truth of the world.

Audiovisual Experience and Performance Optimization

While prioritizing the core gameplay logic and aesthetic flavor, we have included modules such as Oculus for shaders and various ambient sound enhancements to heighten immersion. These additions are entirely optional; players are free to configure or disable them without compromising the integrity of the game's progression.

Throughout development, we have prioritized performance, striving to optimize the experience so that the modpack runs smoothly on most standard personal computers without sacrificing quality or content.

System Requirements

To ensure the best gaming experience, please meet the following requirements:

1. Runtime: Java 17 or higher.
2. Launcher: We recommend using Hello Minecraft Launcher (HMCL), or any launcher that supports the installation of Curseforge modpacks.
3. RAM Allocation: It is recommended to allocate at least 4GB of RAM for the game; for multiplayer servers, 8GB or more is recommended, depending on the number of players.
