350+ Mods | FTB Quests Driven | Plot-Oriented | Tech & Magic Hybrid
I. Overview: An All-Encompassing Sandbox Feast
As the latest masterpiece in the Omniworld family, Omniworld K perfectly inherits and elevates the series' core "all-inclusive" gene. Built on the Minecraft 1.21.1 core, it meticulously integrates over 350 high-quality mods, weaving a dense network that spans cutting-edge technology, arcane magic, and grand adventures. Whether you are an industrial titan addicted to automation, an arcane mage seeking the truth, or a fearless adventurer keen on exploration, a stage is reserved just for you.
Unlike the series' past works, Omniworld K introduces a deeply coupled plot-driven mechanism, making every excavation and crafting task not just a mechanical operation, but a crucial link turning the gears of a grand story.
II. Core Narrative: Project Mirage Archives
Awakening and Amnesia
The moment consciousness returned, the world appeared to you in a strangely angular way. The air was so thin it seemed non-existent, and your senses felt stripped away by some unknown force—a lingering sense of loss, yet you couldn't piece together what was missing from the ruins of your memory.
Containment and Simulation
Welcome to "Project Mirage". As part of the Foundation's General Containment Protocol, your physical entity has been properly processed. As a consciousness, after receiving the standard memory erasure procedure, you have been projected into thousands of parallel server nodes built upon the Mirage architecture. Whether this is a gift of fate or a quantum curse remains to be determined.
Regrettably, the server cluster you currently reside in is maintained by an intern technician still in their probationary period. Therefore, aside from a rudimentary quest terminal, do not expect detailed beginner's guides.
Connection and Hope
Despite this, despair has not completely shrouded this virtual wasteland. Thanks to the cross-dimensional server communication protocol, you can still catch faint but steady signals from other parallel nodes. Interacting with other survivors may be the key to breaking the deadlock. No matter what lies ahead, facing this world that is both strange and familiar, you have no choice but to move forward.
III. Design Philosophy: Freedom and Logical Synergy
Rejecting Shackles, Returning to the Roots
As the core philosophy states, Omniworld K essentially upholds the pure tenet of a "Kitchen Sink" pack—relaxed, enjoyable, and free. We firmly reject logical barriers forcibly set for the sake of difficulty: we won't require you to wear a "Ring of Seven Curses" (with negative effects) early in the game, force you to use a magic altar to cast the casing for a tech machine, nor set the ridiculous threshold of needing rare Queen Bees just to open simple Nether portals.
Logical Resonance, Not Forced Bundling
However, high freedom does not mean the mods are just a scattered mess. I believe that interactions between mods should be based on underlying logical resonance, not stiff recipe modifications. Imagine when technology and magic intersect at the level of physical laws, miracles happen:
- Energy Convergence: Since both involve energy injection, why shouldn't the charging station recipe in Actually Additions be compatible with the more advanced Draconic Evolution fusion injector?
- Cross-Dimensional Fluid Extraction: PneumaticCraft's precision refinery should be capable of processing otherworldly fluids, such as extracting the Ethylene gas needed by Industrial Foregoing from the Aether water in Eternal Starlight.
- Industrial Tier Suppression: Immersive Engineering's massive Arc Furnace should naturally be more powerful in mineral processing efficiency than EnderIO's basic Alloy Smelter.
This is the ecosystem Omniworld K strives to build. Except for a very small number of game-breaking end-game items, we encourage "all roads lead to Rome." When you feel vanilla crafting paths are tedious, try finding shortcuts through cross-mod interaction. Although limited by the energy of a solo developer, current interactions are mainly concentrated on the unification of mineral processing. However, with version iterations, this self-consistent linkage network will become increasingly dense.
This also leads to our new "MMO-style" operational strategy: every major version update will be accompanied by specific thematic questlines, focusing on specific mod combinations and character stories, ensuring the content remains fresh while finding a perfect balance in this lonely development journey.
IV. Mirage Chronicles: Decrypted Versions
v4.0 - Prologue: Magical Revolution of Ivy the Genius Girl
In the public channel, the ID constantly recruiting apprentices caught your attention. Although you know nothing about the arcane, bewilderment drove you to click the private message button. Since then, you have embarked on a path filled with spells and runes. Evidence proves that magic is not a castle in the air; its astonishing practicality has won you over. During your studies, the story of Ivy's background and the tip of the iceberg regarding the grand Project Mirage have gradually revealed themselves to you.
