DeceasedCraft: Modern Urban Zombie Apocalypse
When the foundations of civilization crumble in an instant, how will you survive in a city overrun by the undead? Scavenge through the ruins of a post-apocalyptic metropolis, arm yourself against relentless threats, and eventually venture into the highly radioactive exclusion zones to secure the cure for humanity.
"Every breakthrough comes at a price."
In this meticulously crafted survival experience, vigilance is your only ally. Drawing inspiration from Project Zomboid and 7 Days to Die, DeceasedCraft offers a vast, customized, and procedurally generated urban landscape for you to explore, loot, and conquer. Success demands a mastery of technological progression and survival instincts. Only the most skilled engineers and intrepid scavengers will survive the encroaching hordes to uncover the origins of the infection and restore hope.
Claim a building, fortify your base, and brace yourself—the horde is coming, and it grows stronger with every passing day.
v5.10.7 Open Beta Now Available
As a cornerstone of the upcoming v6.0 update, v5.10.7 represents a complete overhaul of DeceasedCraft. This version introduces seasonal changes, temperature mechanics, and new urban districts. The development team has reached a stable milestone suitable for public testing.
Note: v5.10.7 is a beta release and does not represent the full gameplay experience. For a complete and polished playthrough, please download v5.5.5 and keep a close watch for the official v6.0 release.
If you are running high-end hardware, try the DH version within the beta to achieve visuals identical to our promotional trailers. If you do not spawn in a medium-to-large suburban housing cluster, consider regenerating your world, as your starting point significantly impacts your progression.

System Requirements
Minimum Memory Allocation: Singleplayer/Client: 6GB Server: 8GB
Recommended Memory Allocation: Singleplayer/Client: 8GB Server: 10GB+
Recommended DH Memory Allocation: Singleplayer/Client: 10GB Server: 12GB+
Installation & Optimization Guidelines
- Always ensure Command Blocks are enabled—especially on hosted servers—as multi-block structures and vehicle spawning rely on them.
- Do not use Optifine. This pack includes Embeddium, which matches Optifine’s functionality with superior compatibility.
- Visual Experience: For players with capable hardware, we strongly recommend using shaders. All screenshots were captured using the Complementary/Reimagined Shader Pack.
- Installation: Always use the official launcher. All client configuration files are essential to prevent keybinding conflicts. Do not use the server-side pack as a game client; it lacks the necessary optimization mods.
Development Roadmap
There are currently no plans to add the Nether or the End dimensions.
- Phase 1: Completed. Includes the Wasteland, unique enemies, and armor set bonuses.
- Phase 2 (Invasion Update): Completed. Introduces landmarks, additional bosses, enemy types, and new mechanics.
- Phase 2.5 (Arms Update): Completed. Integrates realistic firearms, artillery, main storyline/objectives, environmental storytelling, revamped armor sets, improved hordes, and new dimensions.
- Phase 3 (v6.0): Currently in development.
