Viltrumite Flight

This is a superhero flight mod that also serves as an API for my ongoing "Viltrumite" project.

This mod introduces flight mechanics inspired by the Viltrumites, complete with fluid animations and immersive sound effects. It functions as a standalone feature in Creative mode, enabling high-speed flight accompanied by intense camera shake effects. While primarily designed as a foundation for my upcoming Viltrumite mod, other developers are welcome to explore and integrate its codebase into their own projects.

You can lock your cruise speed by pressing the SHIFT key. To trigger a rapid takeoff, press the spacebar twice while holding down SHIFT. Please ensure you do not release the SHIFT key until you have successfully transitioned from the NONE state into the HOVER state.

Players can experience the following 4 flight states:

• NONE: The default state where you are either on the ground or falling naturally.
• HOVER: You float in mid-air and can navigate at a slower pace using WASD combined with the SPACE or SHIFT keys (equivalent to vanilla flight).
• CRUISE: You fly rapidly in the direction you are facing. You must hold down CTRL to accelerate and maintain this flight momentum.
• SONIC: You are flying at near-maximum velocity (reaching or exceeding 80% of top speed).
